Description
A fun to build robot that uses a micro:bit microcontroller board (sold separately) that kids can code or control using their Smartphone via Bluetooth. The kit is easy to assemble and no soldering is required. The included infrared and ultrasonic modules connect with the micro:bit, which enables the robot to follow a line, avoid or follow obstacles, and more. Other features include an onboard buzzer to produce sounds, an 18 RGB LED ring for amazing colour effects, and a photocell to detect light intensity. Two large RGB lights on the front are used to indicate the robot’s direction as it travels. Once kids are competent using the micro:bit, they can create their own code to get the robot to use the micro:bit’s accelerometer, compass, and 5x5 LED matrix. A 3.6V Li-ion rechargeable battery is required for power
(sold separately).
Note:
• micro:bit not included (use XC4324)
• 3.6V Li-ion rechargeable battery also required (use SB2298)
