Shipping costs
Within Australia
We offer free shipping on all orders delivered within Australia.
International orders
International shipping is not free. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your order and destination.
Order processing & dispatch
Orders placed through our website or any marketplace are generally dispatched within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
This is the processing time before shipment, not the delivery time.
Pre-orders
Pre-order dispatch depends on the estimated arrival date (ETA) shown on the product page. ETAs are estimates and may change. Please contact us for an update before ordering if timing is important.
Stock discrepancies
Occasionally, stock discrepancies may occur. If an ordered item is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss a suitable alternative, another available option or a refund. We will not substitute a product without your agreement.
Delivery services & addresses
We use Australia Post, StarTrack and other courier services. The carrier is selected according to the products being shipped and the delivery address.
Online store only — no collection service
MAD Electronics operates as an online store only. Our stock is held across different warehouses and fulfilment locations, rather than at a single collection point.
We do not offer Click & Collect, customer pickup or warehouse collection. All orders must be shipped to a delivery address. Please do not visit our postal address or a dispatch warehouse to collect an order.
PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers
We can deliver eligible items to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers, subject to size limits, product restrictions and carrier requirements. Certain dangerous goods and oversized items cannot be delivered to these addresses.
If you are unsure whether your order can be delivered to a PO Box or Parcel Locker, please contact us before ordering. If we identify an address restriction after you place your order, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss an alternative delivery arrangement.
Split shipments & tracking
Items in the same order may be dispatched separately because they are held at different warehouses or fulfilment locations. Your parcels may arrive separately and have different tracking numbers.
Tracking details will be provided as shipments are dispatched. Please check the tracking information for each parcel when following up on your order.
International shipping restrictions
We offer international shipping, subject to carrier availability and destination restrictions.
Our checkout may currently allow these items to be ordered for international delivery. However, placing an order does not mean that we can ship restricted goods overseas.
If we receive an international order that we cannot fulfil because it contains batteries or dangerous goods, we will generally contact you within 1–2 days to explain the restriction, cancel the order and arrange a refund.
Import duties & taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and other charges imposed by the destination country or delivery provider.
These charges are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the product price or shipping charge unless expressly stated at checkout.
MAD Electronics does not control these charges. Please check with your local customs authority before ordering to understand any costs that may apply.
Signatures & Authority to Leave
Orders valued AUD $100 or less generally do not require a signature. Orders valued over AUD $100 generally require a signature on delivery.
For deliveries to units, apartments or shared-access buildings, a signature may be required regardless of the order value to reduce the risk of parcels going missing.
Signature requirements may vary depending on the delivery address, parcel contents, carrier requirements and other delivery circumstances.
Requesting Authority to Leave
If you would like to request Authority to Leave, please contact us when placing your order. Requests are subject to our confirmation and the carrier's delivery conditions and cannot always be accommodated.
Delivery issues & insurance
All shipments are covered by transit insurance.
If your parcel is missing, arrives damaged or there is another delivery issue, please contact us with your order number and tracking details. For damaged parcels, please retain the packaging and provide photos so we can investigate with the carrier and arrange the appropriate next steps.
Unsuccessful delivery & redelivery
If delivery is unsuccessful and the parcel is returned to us, the customer is responsible for the cost of resending it. Please contact us so we can confirm the address and arrange redelivery.
Changing or cancelling an order
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your delivery address, amend an order or request cancellation.
We will do our best to assist before dispatch, but changes or cancellation cannot be guaranteed once order processing has begun.
Refunds & support
Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
For marketplace purchases, MAD Electronics approves the refund through the marketplace, which then processes the payment back to you. We cannot control the marketplace's processing time. Please contact the marketplace directly if you need an update after approval.
International refunds & currency exchange
If your payment involved currency conversion, the amount credited to you in your local currency may differ from the amount originally paid. Exchange rates may change between the date of purchase and the date your refund is processed.
Currency conversion rates and any associated fees are determined by your bank, card issuer, payment provider or marketplace, not MAD Electronics. Except where required by applicable law, MAD Electronics is not responsible for exchange-rate differences or currency conversion fees applied by these providers. Please contact the relevant provider for details.

Please contact our team with your order number and enquiry. For returns, faulty products or warranty support, see Returns & Warranty. For information about your personal details, see Privacy & Data Protection.
Payment verification & fraud protection
To help protect customers against unauthorised transactions, orders may be subject to payment verification and security checks before dispatch.
Some orders may require manual verification. If your order requires this check, we will generally contact you within 1–2 days of receiving your order.
We may place an order on hold or cancel it if payment is declined, cannot be verified, or we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised use of a payment method. We may contact you for information reasonably necessary to verify the order. If verification cannot be completed, we may cancel the order.
Pricing errors, stock availability & order cancellation
We take reasonable care to keep product prices and stock information accurate. However, pricing errors, stock discrepancies and supplier availability changes may occasionally occur.
Subject to applicable law, MAD Electronics may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where:
- A genuine pricing or product information error has occurred.
- An item is unavailable or cannot be supplied.
- Payment is declined or cannot be verified.
- There are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or an unauthorised transaction.
- The order cannot be fulfilled because of delivery or product restrictions.
We will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable to explain the issue. Where appropriate, we may offer an alternative product or another solution, but we will not substitute a product or charge a higher price without your agreement.
If we cancel an order for which payment has been received, we will arrange a refund for the cancelled items through the original payment method. Marketplace refunds are processed by the relevant marketplace following our approval.
Liability & your rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that are caused by misuse, unauthorised modification or failure to follow product instructions. This does not limit any responsibility we have under applicable law.
Please back up important data before returning a device for assessment, repair or replacement, as these processes may involve resetting the device or replacing storage components.
Australian consumer guarantees & manufacturer warranties
Our products come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
For a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement. For other failures, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Manufacturer warranties and our stated warranty periods are additional to these rights. Your consumer guarantee rights may continue beyond a stated warranty period, depending on the product and circumstances.
Please see our Returns & Warranty policy or contact us for assistance.
