HAMMOND CASE
- Ergonomically designed to comfortably fit in the user's hand. Both the display and keyboard areas are recessed for membrane devices, perfect for instrument or mobile data enclosures requiring a keypad and display. Two sizes are available with or without a battery door and in black or light grey plastic. The handheld section of enclosure includes a dark grey TPE overmold for a soft grip. Moulded from flame-retardant ABS plastic with a UL flammability rating of 94V-0. Enclosure is assembled with M3-0.5 x 18 mm Phillips head machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings. Ideal for repetitive assembly and disassembly. Integral brass bushings are factory inserted into the top half of the enclosure. PC board standoffs are moulded into the case's top and bottom halves. Contains either one or two end panels, depending on the version, which are removable for easy modification. Lap joint construction provides protection against access of dust and splashing water. Versions without a battery door are designed to meet IP54 ratings. Battery door and compartment version (part numbers ending in "BAT") includes: 1553TT "BAT" versions: 4x battery clips (for 2x AA batteries) and 1x 9-volt (PP3) battery clip.
