Merlaud IP Communicator Balanced Line Encoder

The Merlaud IP Communicator balun system provides an easy way to send balanced audio line signals over network IP systems. This allows installers to connect an encoder and decoder to an existing ethernet network system and stream high quality balanced line audio to local zone PA systems. An example of how this may be used is within a school, where a centralised PA system feeds local zone amplifiers in different buildings across the facility. This flexible point to point system can be used in new or existing systems where a balanced line level signal is required to be sent over long distances. For a complete system an encoder (A4866) and decoder (A4867) will be required and set up will be required via a web portal which allows individual configuration of each encoder and decoder in a system. These can be used one to one, or single encoder to multiple decoders, depending on installer requirements. Balanced input is via 3 pin euroblock screw terminals. Stereo RCA's are provided should you need standard line level input. Volume level is adjustable directly on the encoder box.
