This excellent professional dynamic DECT microphone is suitable for the Okayo C7230 DECT portable PA system. It allows performers to deliver vocal power and clarity even in the most acoustically adverse venues. The frequency response is tailored for vocals and the low-frequency roll off reduces handling noise and feedback.
What makes a DECT portable PA system better?
DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) provides a robust wireless framework for portable PA systems by operating in the protected 1.9GHz frequency band. This specific spectrum is globally allocated for cordless communications, which effectively isolates the audio signal from the heavy congestion and interference common in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands used by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Because the technology was originally designed for telephony, it excels at maintaining a stable connection over medium distances and through physical obstructions like walls or partitions.
DECT wireless microphones are highly valued for their automated frequency management. The receiver and microphone continuously scan for the cleanest available channel and can hop between frequencies seamlessly without the user needing to manually coordinate channels. This "plug-and-play" nature, combined with integrated encryption for secure transmission, makes it an ideal choice for mobile presenters who require reliable, high-quality audio without the technical complexity of traditional UHF systems.
